Viola is a local resident with a background in nursing and community advocacy, and has spent many years working alongside people experiencing housing and health insecurity. She’s worked as a Registered Nurse and as a union organiser with the NSW Nurses and Midwives’ Association, supporting nurses and midwives to advocate for safer, fairer workplaces and better outcomes for their communities.
Viola is also actively involved in the Homes for Health steering group, and brings a grounded, people-centred perspective to our work.
