Liz Jeremy is an expert in local government, governance, engagement, sustainability and resilience with decades of experience working across rural, regional, and metropolitan settings, understanding community priorities and ensuring excellence in engagement and service delivery, most recently as General Manager of Bellingen Shire Council.

Liz has led local service delivery in an environment that is both prized for its natural biodiversity and highly vulnerable to frequent, major disasters and has a unique understanding of the spectrum of collaboration, planning and operational activity needed to ensure readiness in critical service delivery during times of crisis as well as building community resilience. This includes housing as one of the most basic of individual and community needs.

As the Executive Officer of the Mid North Coast Joint Organisation Liz facilitated funding for and led the development of the Community Land Trust Model report which has been released across the region and will provide guidance to some of the important work being undertaken by the Housing Matters Action Group.

Liz and her family have called Bellingen home since 2010 in this most beautiful part of the world, contributing to community well-being in a variety of ways both personally and professionally.
