Tackling the Housing Crisis—Locally
We’re proud to be featured in The Mid North Coaster for our work to address the housing crisis through the Waterfall Way Community Land Trust Ltd. (WWCLT Ltd.). As highlighted in the article, we’re pioneering the CLT model in the Australian context, because it delivers permanent affordability housing that gives local workers and long-term residents a fair chance at homeownership. By separating the value of land from housing, the WWCLT Ltd., ensures homes remain affordable for generations. We’re working closely with Bellingen Shire Council to secure land for the first development—and building a community movement to make it happen.
