Our local hospitals are at risk—16 beds could be lost if we don’t act now! New nurses need homes, and we have the power to make a difference.
Join us on Sunday, March 2, for a critical public meeting on the Homes for Health initiative—a community-driven solution to the urgent housing crisis affecting the recruitment and retention of essential healthcare workers in Bellingen & Dorrigo. The initiative is a collaboration between community groups, including the Bellinger Health Action Group (BHAG), the Housing Matters Action Group (HMAG), as well as Bellingen Shire Council.
Affordable housing shortages are making it harder to staff our hospitals. Without immediate action, our healthcare services will suffer. But together, we can create a solution that ensures our hospitals remain strong and our community stays cared for. Click here to view the event program.
