Final HMAG Learning Circle for 2025!

Join us for the final session in HMAG’s 2025 Learning Circle series — Thursday, 20 November, 4.30-6.00PM. This session will be facilitated by the wonderful Meaghan Burket and will focus on Generating Capital – exploring practical models for community-led investment and shared ownership. Together we’ll look at how communities can:

  • Uncover hidden sources of local funding and resources
  • Create new income streams (from service-based revenue to ecosystem payments)
  • Build financial resilience through place-based approaches
  • Learn from real-world examples of communities that have successfully generated and grown local capital

The next Learning Circle will focus on scoping a local project, explore shire-wide themes and actions, and bring in new content on community wealth building.

It will be the last Learning Circle for the year, with the series taking a pause in 2026 before returning with refreshed content shaped by community input. A huge thanks to Meaghanfor hosting our Learning Circle’s for 2025!
